We've been called lots of things by our competitors, but our clients know that we are veterans of the payroll industry; with a combined 50 years of payroll processing experience on our management team alone, it's hard to stump us. What this means is that we understand the "dirty details" involved in payroll processing - likely one of the reasons you'll hire usand we know what to do and when to do it.
There are many companies whose representatives profess to be industry veterans, but whose youth or inexperience betray that all they really know is what they learned in their training classes, not real experience working in the trade. Our Story
Between 1998 and 2005, CPHR's Principals, entrepreneur Jeff Plakans and payroll veteran Chris Murray teamed up to help Jeff's Dad grow his company, Payrolls Plus, from 500 clients to over 8000. During its run, Payrolls Plus became known amongst its clients for a trademark high level of customer service, taking ownership of its clients issues and holding its customers hands whenever needed. While the technology used at Payrolls Plus wasn't the best at the time, the approach was and our success demonstrated that. We were very proud of what we built and what we stood for to our clients. They demonstrated this by their loyalty, not only by staying with us but referring their peers.
At Commonwealth Payroll & HR, we have renewed this approach and combined it with better and more evolved payroll solutions that allow our clients to become more efficient, more conveniently, without giving up the level of customer service that our clients at Payrolls Plus enjoyed. Call it Payrolls Plus 2.0 - we do!
